Group Classes & 1-2-1 Training
A puppy’s training begins as soon as they enter this world and it is the responsibility of the owner to nurture the puppy and continue with their training. One of the first life skills is building a good relationship and bond with your puppy; bonding is extremely important if you want your puppy to respond to what you are asking them to do. Your puppy will look to you for guidance as you gain each other’s trust.

Teaching the foundations of life skills helps ensure safety, security and protection for your dog and enables the whole family to cohabitate in a harmonious home and socialise with the world outside.
Training involves positive reinforcement that is force-free and kind, using reward-based methods of food, praise, toys or any reward that your dog is motivated by.
It is never too late in a dog’s life to teach life skills; whether you have a puppy, adolescent or older dog, there are several options for training. I am currently working alongside another Instructor, Paula Tanner (ISCP.Dip.Canine.Prac), offering the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme group classes based just outside Eastbourne in Wannock Village and Willingdon, for puppies and older dogs.
