Hi, I’m Lyndsey

I studied with the ISCP (International School of Canine Psychology) and qualified as a canine behaviour practitioner. Since then, I have gained confidence with the experiences I have been challenged with and continue to enhance my skills to support dogs and their guardians. I always enjoy my continuous learning journey relating to dogs and I am currently studying Tellington TTouch which I use on a daily basis.

I have a working Cocker Spaniel who is my shadow and teacher. At first, we had our struggles, I made mistakes, I lost faith and I felt I had failed him. It took time but I worked hard to build up our bond and relationship for him to trust me. We have had the most amazing connection since the day I realised it was me that was not listening to my dog, not the other way around. It was my dog that inspired me to become a canine behaviourist, for which I will always be truly grateful.

I grew up in Cornwall surrounded by farm animals hanging their heads over our fence to eat our garden hedgerow and our home was more like a zoo. All these experiences and my love of animals have played a valuable part in my life. Having trust in each other and being kind and respectful is important for all animals in our lives.

  • I cannot recommend enough this amazing Dog Sitting service. Not only was Lyndsey amazing with our German Shepard Jack, giving him games, activities, treats and love. But the way she updated us allowed us to feel confident our dog was doing well.

To add to it Lyndsey took amazing care of our home. We came home to everything immaculate and ready for us to just hop into bed after our flight arrived in the early hours of the morning. Pure perfection, great price and just a treasure I'm glad we have discovered! Thank you so much again we will see you again soon!

  • We asked Lyndsey if she would consider looking after Sky at our home when we are away. You see I had noticed the loving; gentle way Lyndsey is with her own dog and how holistic her outlook is. Lyndsey had also told me about her puppy training classes and dog behaviour expertise, so we felt Sky would be in safe hands. We also wanted someone to stay in our home with Sky rather than take Sky to stay elsewhere or put her in kennels. It was nerve-wracking for me at first to leave Sky in anyone else's care.

After what she had already been through, and because we love her so much, we wanted to be able to trust whoever looks after Sky, would love and care for her like we do. And as a two-year-old energetic sight hound, Sky can sometimes be a bit of handful, so we needed to feel safe with Lyndsey, especially outside the house. So far, Lyndsey has looked after Sky during the day and overnight at our house and taken her for walks in the local area.

Sky loves Lyndsey and their time together! We have been recommending Lyndsey to other dog owners ever since.

  • My Norfolk Terrier and I have been lucky enough to meet Lyndsey during a local dog training class. Wilf is a young, feisty, gorgeous little terrier who can be a bit reactive with other dogs. Lyndsey has been a great source of support and reassurance, going above and beyond the classes, offering suggestions/advice and resources to help me as a first-time dog owner. I know I could contact her at any time, knowing nothing is too much trouble. Lastly and most importantly Wilf loves her, especially when she has his favourite coconut treats.

  • I approached Lyndsey when my rescue arrived from Romania. He had quite a few areas that required attention including fear of the outdoors, separation anxiety and others.

Lyndsey broke them down individually and gave sound, positive advice. She always had time for any questions and offered support throughout. It took time but the results were positive. I’d recommend her to anyone having problems with their fur babies.

  • We were so pleased and relieved to have found Lyndsey to look after Jasper while we went away for a few days . We were a bit concerned as he has reactivity issues but having met Lyndsey a couple of times once in the park and then at home we were happy to leave him with her in our home . We received daily updates and pictures which was reassuring.

Lyndsey has helped us by suggesting a couple of things we can do to help Jasper’s reactivity which we are continuing to implement . Jasper had changed even in the short time we left him . We highly recommend Lyndsey and will hopefully be using her services in the future as our preferred dog sitter.
